What is Yamoa Powder?

Yamoa powder (Funtumia Elastica) is derived from the bark of a rare gum tree found in Ghana, West Africa.  It has been used there for generations; and reputedly is a natural alternative to invigorate the respiratory system.

According to Dr. David G Williams’ story, the use of Yamoa powder was kept hidden by Jerry Yamoa’s grandmother, an African Shaman, until 1994 when Jerry finally persuaded her to tell him what her “healing powder” was made out from.

The bark is soaked in clean water and thoroughly cleaned, and then completely dried naturally. The finished substance contains no chemicals or additives.

Realizing that there are millions of sufferers from pollen and other respiratory allergies, Jerry decided to bring the powder over to the UK.  He began to produce and market the powder, which you now can find on the internet.

Using Yamoa Powder

Testimonials claim that it is an effective alternative to combat asthma, hay fever and other allergic conditions.   While Yamoa Powder does not give instant relief, users have said they noticed significant improvement within 7 to 10 days.

Product literature claims that it is important for those who use it to take the powder for one month to be free of all symptoms.  That’s a pretty heady claim for all of us who have never been free of wheezes and sneezes.

Instructions for use
Mix the entire contents of the 30gm bottle thoroughly with an average size jar of honey, about 1lb (454gm). (The powder tastes bitter and the honey makes it sweet.)

Stir well until the powder is completely mixed, also stir the mixture each time you use it.

Adults: One 5 ml spoonful twice a day for one month continuously.

Children: under the age of 12: Half a 5ml teaspoon twice a day for one month continuously.

Or take a ¼ of a 5ml spoon of powder twice a day with a glass of water or fruit juice, tea or any beverage.

It is important not to stop your current medication without your doctor’s advice.
Yamoa powder is a form of complementary care.
