Leigh Cord: Our Founder

Wellness Online was founded by Leigh Cord who lost his young wife to cancer. After watching her go through years of painful medical treatment, and still die, he wanted to help others avoid cancer, as well as other dreaded diseases. In order to do so he left the health insurance field and became an entrepreneur.

The first thing he did was to start Healics Inc., which provides health risk assessments for employer wellness programs. That business is now run by high quality staff and serves many Wisconsin companies.

In 2001 he was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. Rather than take the view that it was life threatening, he thought it was time to “walk the walk rather than talk the talk.” He spent the last 10 years learning all he could about conquering disease naturally, and is alive and well today without medical intervention. That means no surgery, no radiation, no oncology, and no drugs. He really is pleased to still have all of his body parts, and in working condition.
